In our last few posts, we’ve mostly talked about NFT Magic Cards — exciting digital objects that you can farm on EmiSwap and that give you access to great perks and bonuses. But there’s another type of reward you can get on our decentralized exchange: ESW tokens. And now that we are still in the soft launch stage, you have a fantastic opportunity to get in early and earn more!
The two types of ESW rewards
There are two things you can do to get free ESW:
1) Provide liquidity to EmiSwap trading pools — in this case, you’ll also earn a percentage of the trading fees generated by the pool (see the White Paper for details);
2) Trade (swap tokens) on EmiSwap. We have allocated 6,000,000 ESW as rewards for both options — more than enough to earn a good yield. So it’s up to you to choose what interests you: passive investing or active trading.
Rewards for Liquidity Providers
We will begin paying early rewards starting from the 11th day after the official launch of EmiSwap (right now the platform is in the beta testing stage).
Type 1 — Day 11–40: we will issue an extra 6,150 ESW every 1,000 blocks (around 3.6 hours) and distribute them among all the liquidity providers (LPs) according to how much funds each of them deposited in the pools. So, for example, if you provide 1% of the total liquidity on the platform, you’ll get 1%, or 61,5 ESW every 3.6 hours.
Type 2 — Day 11–100: we have also allocated a maximum of 30,000 ESW to distribute among the LPs depending on the exchange turnover. If in these 90 days we reach a total trading volume of 1 million DAI, we’ll allocate all 30,000 ESW as rewards. If the cumulative volume is only 500 thousand DAI, we’ll distribute 15,000 ESW, and so forth.
To maximize your bonus, we suggest that you join as soon as possible, ideally as soon as we launch. This way you can enjoy both types of rewards for a whole month (days 11–40). If you join on Day 41, you’ll miss out on the first type.
In case you are wondering what will happen after Day 100, we’ll still be paying Type 2 bonuses — but at a much lower rate. Only 3,000 ESW will be distributed for each 1 million DAI traded on the platform. Now you see why it’s better to become an LP early?
Rewards for Swappers
If you’d rather trade tokens, we have rewards for you, too! EmiSwap will give you 16 ESW for every 1,000 DAI you trade on the platform between Day 11 and Day 100 after the launch. This means that it’s in your own interest to swap as much as possible!
And of course, nothing prevents you from being a swapper AND a liquidity provider at the same time!
Remember that the overall cap for both types of bonuses (LPs and swappers) is 6,000,000 ESW. If we arrive at this amount before Day 100, we’ll have to cease reward payouts. So join as soon as possible — or you risk getting left behind! Connect your wallet right now to see how EmiSwap works.
